Home ! for the first time

Wedneday 27 June :
Jane is home !!! Jane is getting better and finally doctor release her from hospital. For the first time since born, she is home. Hooray ! What a miracle. Despite the low saturation ( around 60 - 70 ) she is allowed to discharged from hospital. We went back to Bandung, our beloved hometown.
Being in hospital for months , coming home is such a relieve yet a new chapter begin. Life seems to be more normal now, with family around, housework and  Jane at home. Feels so happy.

Thursday 28 June :
Extra busy with all the things ; taking care our precious baby and housework. Not to mention all unpacked things. Really seemed that we were moving out the whole things at home and now moving it back  :) About Jane: doctor here told us that they found  TR -somekind of leak in Jane's heart and they quite sad that the oxygen level (saturation )still below 80-90% after the surgery. They mention that this condition might give more risk to the next heart surgery.

We convey this to our cardiologist and wait for the opinion. We pray that God will let Jane achieve the expected saturation and continue to receive perfect healing.

Doctors told us to plan for the final heart surgery. Most likely it need to be done in Japan and we need to stay couple months for stem cell procedure after the surgery.
Right now we need to really  take care our little baby. She need to adapt here and need to be protected from any infection / other disease as she has not get proper vaccination.May God protect her always.

We also pray that Jane may soon catch up with normal baby weight and development. Praise God, on mid June, she reach 4,15kg weigh . Previously she was failure to thrive as she only weigh 3,6 kg but she will catch up. We believe so.

In gallery we put several new pictures of Jane while in hospital.Looking back on how bad the situation it was, this is such a miracle that Jane is home with us. Thank you Jesus!

  1. Welxome home baby Jane. I know how it feels. Jason also come home when he was 5months (now 3 yo). Jesus has saved his life, so i believe he will does to Jane so. Last time the weight was also 4.4kg, and gaining to 10kg in 8 months of age. Doctor told us that he will not be able to sit, dont even think he can walk. But now he can run :) Jesus loves Jason unconditionaly. He is suffering a rare blood problem so that time the blood is very thick and it clots in his brain. But miracle happen, now the clot is gone. Jason start to growing like other child in his age. We also lives in Bandung, just feel free to share. Keep the faith baby Jane. God is loves you... -Cynthia (mother of Jason)-

  2. welcome home baby jane ! must be a great relieved to have her back home ! same feeling when we know that Our first son Kenneth discharged from hospital after all those blood saturation turns to normal when he was diagnosed with PDA and ASD.

Amazingly he is 3 y.o now and can cope with the children in his age... continuously visiting cardiologist every six months and doing all variety of therapy, bring Kenneth to his normal life. Our homework now is to get him speak as mush as his age despite the useof hearing aid as he loss small percentage hearing due to the use of medicine during the pre-born condition.

A kid with heart deffect is Special ! more of that.. parents with a heart defect kid even more Special ! we'Ve been thru hard-time that develop our faith In God. so .. dont worry raising a kid with heart defect is a gift from God. no matter how hard it is God will never give problem greater than our capacity!

We face future with a great Hope that everything will Be better, and that is life... we need Hope to continue our life.

We look forward to Kenneth's heart baloon surgery next year... but we believe God will make a way....everything will be ok!

Jason & Mom Cynthia : You are special too ! many great life waiting ahead ! keep faith in God and keep Hope !

Baby Jane : You are not alone...
